Nature of business

Spectrum is involved in the sale and distribution of security equipment products throughout the African continent. Spectrum’s wide range of leading products include Paradox security systems and Motorola two-way radios.

Rationale for transaction

Spirit Capital believes there is significant potential in the security sector and that Spectrum is well positioned to capitalize on this growth. Spirit Capital, together with the management of Spectrum, acquired the business from CJ Petrow Group who were seeking an exit.
